(CDA), a leading audiovisual workplace technology design, engineering, and consulting firm proudly announces the addition of Joel Appelbaum, CTS, Senior Design Engineer and Travis Lisk, CTS-I, AV Design Engineer to the company. Both will add to CDA’s expertise and ability to deliver world-class solutions globally.
With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the AV industry, Joel Appelbaum joined CDA’s Workplace Technology Design Group in November 2023, as a Senior Design Engineer based in New York. Joel is known for his extensive industry expertise in engineering, tackling complex challenges, and project management. His impressive skill set encompasses designing and constructing various corporate presentation, conferencing and collaboration, production, and experiential environments.

Travis Lisk, CTS-I, started with CDA in April 2024 as an AV Design Engineer based in Philadelphia. He supports CDA’s Lead Consultants and Account Managers in developing design concepts and coordinating with project teams to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy in all aspects of project delivery. Travis has broad experience in technical implementation – and holds numerous industry certifications in programming and audio technologies beyond his AVIXA CTS-I certification – confirming his commitment to excellence.
